From: Calvary Castle Rock
To the dear Saints of Castle Rock, Larkspur and Franktown, who have been called to come together in unity around our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ:
As pastor of Calvary Castle Rock I am blessed to be a part of the moving of God in our town. I want you to know we are not unifying around any great cause. We unify around Jesus, God’s word is clear in Acts 4:12 – Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among man by which we must be saved. There are many good causes in the world but there is only one Savior of the world, and if we continue to rally and unify around Him, He will bring healing and blessing to our town. Jesus will heal the broken hearted, Jesus will set the captives free, Jesus will do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think. As our eyes remain fixed on Him, He will lead and guide us and show us the open doors that no man can shut in how to minister in His name.
If you are hearing this letter today it is because your pastor is likeminded with the other pastors who come together every Thursday morning to pray for our town. We come together for one reason, to make God’s name great in our town. We are not concerned about who goes to whose fellowship, there is no spirit of competition among those who pray among us, there is only a spirit of Unity in Christ, and the desire to see the advancement of the Kingdom of God in our town.
I am honored and excited to come alongside your pastor to serve the Lord Jesus in our community. Let this be a year where we truly implement Matt. 5:16 – “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Shovel your neighbor’s driveway, invite them over for a meal, ask God daily for those divine appointments to share your faith and by all means invite your neighbors and co workers and friends to your church. May this be a year the angels constantly rejoice over the many souls who come to saving faith in Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Remember we should all want to hear those wonderful words when we meet our Savior, Matt. 25:21 - “Well done good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make your ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of the Lord.”
I look forward to serving alongside you this year to make God’s name great.
Your servant and fellow co-worker in Christ.
David Love
