To all of the Brothers and Sisters in Castle Rock, Franktown & Larkspur:

Greetings to you in the powerful name of Jesus Christ!

May we all be challenged by the words of our great God & Savior, Jesus Christ, when He spoke in Matthew 5:16-“Let your light so shine, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.”

As it has already been seen in this community, may all of our lights continue to shine brightly as a glorious reflection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Just as the moon reflects the light of the sun, may we too accurately reflect the light and life of Jesus, the Son. May our lights shine so that those around us see the hope Jesus Christ purchased there at the cross.

I pray for each and every one of us, that we would focus on those “good works” which will have those around us asking why we are distinct and different. May the good works we accomplish be a bright beacon into this community and the surrounding areas regarding who Jesus is, what He has done, and what He alone can offer.

Lastly, may our good works point people to the Heavenly Father in all of His glory. May He receive the glory for His mighty offer of mercy and grace; those beautiful gifts we cannot earn, but He freely extends. May we live “brightly” so others will come to know the saving knowledge of the Father’s plan, the Son’s finished work and the Holy Spirit’s ministry. May we walk together in obedience to our Master and Savior, Jesus Christ.
